PRP - Platelet Rich Plasma
Promote natural tissue regeneration which results in harmonious remodelling of the face and plump, glowing skin.
PRP is suitable for treating either the face or hair. When used on the face, it will promote natural tissue regeneration which results in harmonious remodelling of the face and plump, glowing skin. When used for hair, it will stimulate bulb cells at the base of hair and the surrounding microcirculation to enhance the vitality of your hair and promote growth.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)
Platelets are a part of everyone’s whole blood. Platelets contain growth factors that assist in tissue repair and generating new tissue. By harnessing the regenerative potential in our platelets we can improve skin quality, smooth fine lines, improve the look of dark circles around the eye and encourage hair regeneration and production. This is done by drawing and spinning a small sample of your own blood to separate and prepare the platelets in a higher concentration for injection back into your skin.
At AegisMD, we have multiple protocols for delivering PRP including the Micro eclipse micro needling pen with topical application, the V2 Beauty Booster gun for hair and face, and the US-U225 Meso-injector device. Dr. Plaskos can also inject manually with a candela or needle.
The US-U225 Meso-injector device is the most sophisticated mesotherapy device currently on the market, leaving almost no trauma to the skin or hair and is virtually painless. It allows deep delivery of PRP and vitamin cocktails in a reliable and efficient way in delicate areas such as the eye, face and hair.

Dark Eye Circles
Hair
A-PRP induces regeneration of the hair bulb environment, increasing blood supply and enhancing hair follicle cell proliferation, resulting in stronger, nicer hair.
The use of PRP is a great treatment option for hair loss and thinning hair and has a number of scientifically based articles showing its efficacy in increasing hair count, hair thickness and the growth phase of the hair cycle. Anyone experiencing hair loss is essentially a good candidate for hair PRP. Those with early hair lose tend to respond best. PRP is best used for patients with androgenic alopecia, which is a genetically determined type of hair loss that typically occurs along the top of the head. In women, this might look like a widening part with normal hair thickness at the back of the head.
