Sclerotherapy Injections

Sclerotherapy injections treat varicose and spider veins. During this procedure a solution is injected into undesired veins, causing them to scar and collapse. The blood flow to these veins is rerouted to healthier veins reducing their dark appearance. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.

Dr. Plaskos has been treating veins for over 30 years. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Phlebology and holds a fellowship status as a board-certified phlebologist. She can diagnose and treat large varicose and spider veins.
