Bela MD Defence™ Hydrogen Therapy works by combining harmful active oxygen (free radicals) with hydrogen to produce water. The Bela MD Hydrogen (H2) performs electrolysis of mineral water or tap water to create hydrogen bubble and hydrogen cations in the water. When the hydrogen is infused directly into the skin, it neutralizes free radicals and reduces inflammation, while boosting brightness and hydration.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER MY FIRST TREATMENT?
Following a single BELA MD treatment, you may notice that your skin feels smoother, clean and hydrated. Patients often experience a refreshed appearance and glow.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
To improve overall skin health and appearance, and for skin conditions such as acne, pigmentation, rosacea and uneven skin tone, it’s important to have a series of treatments for the best result. 3-6 BELA MD treatments are recommended, and the treatments can be spaced 1-2 weeks apart. After this series, a monthly treatment is recommended for continued support in maintaining healthy skin.
IS THERE DOWNTIME?
BELA MD is a safe and gentle treatment with no downtime. After the treatment, your skin may have a slight rosy glow for a few hours. This is patient dependent, based on the level of skin reactivity and sensitivity. You will need to protect your skin with a moisturizer and a physical broad-spectrum chemical free SPF50. An AegisMD skin care technician will recommend the appropriate skin care products needed to optimize your results at home and protect the health of your skin.
